History

1570
First mention of the mill on records – Gregor Götze approached the Elector of Saxony on 28th of August and claimed that his Spouse had inherited the mill from her blissful grandparents and rightful parents and how he had acquired her from his brothers in-law 37 years prior for 100 Groschen. After the death of his wife the ownership was transferred to him and his children, so that the mill was for one and a half century in peaceful possession of the family. According to this mention the mill was probably founded at around 1400.

The mill remained in uninterrupted possession of the family Kunze until 1984
